Park

Resort

Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

6.0

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Float Ratio

73

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

Outline Shape

Directional Twin

Boards that need to excel both on the slopes and out of bounds are shaped with evenly proportioned center and side bases and a medium uplift striking the optimal balance for freestyle and freeriding.

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ + Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Glassing

Bi-Ax
Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light
Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Special Sauce

D.S.T.
Super Tubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Base

Hyper
Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Inserts

+4 Backseat
Inserts

Backseat inserts are extra inserts 4cm behind the bottom inserts. This allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight more back on the board the nose stays up and the pressure on you back leg is reduced.

Sidewalls

Shock Walls
Sidewall

This is our Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon
Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Whatever X beyond medals 157

Whatever X Beyond Medals - an all mountain beast

Loving the whatever x Beyond Medals collab. I'm used to stiff freeride directional boards, so tp me this is the most wonderful flexi-fun all round board. I appreciate to other people this might be a bit more board than you're used to, but for me it's just the most wonderful board and paired with the Astro Asymwrap its my perfect set up for day to day all mountain fun.

Perfect season ending

My first board from Bataleon and I don't regret a penny.
Initially, I had a bit of stress with the delivery because the board was lost in transport, in addition, when the information about the loss came, I had only 4 days to leave. The brave Jascha from the Bataleon team performed a miracle and on the day of departure my dream product arrived safe and sound.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to test the board on fresh powder, it was full sun all the time, no precipitation and daytime temperatures reaching 15 degrees.

In the morning conditions, i.e. on a hard icy slope with a perfectly prepared surface, the board is doing great, the edges are holding perfectly, it is responsive and goes where we want.
Flex 6 allows you to reach high speeds without losing control over the board, and thanks to the 3BT technology, it allows you to add some tricks to the speed :)

When in the second half of the day the icy slope thawed and turned into a wet mush, the board lost some speed but still coped with such conditions perfectly. In the sea zones, she literally floated like a surfboard.

I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and I recommend it to anyone undecided ... 3BT does the job :)

Cheers!
