Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.
Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.
What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.
Our 50-50 paulownia and poplar woods blend for optimal strength to weight properties.
Dual Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.
The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.
Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.
Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.
SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

I've had a Whatever for a few years now and found it to such a great board for whatever (see what I did there...) the mountain throws at you. I've ventured into deep powder off piste, and suffered through s*** icy snow on piste, and this board is still a lot of fun. It's got to the point where I have worn it out, but I will be onto my second Whatever for next season
Had the evil twin before and this board is a great competitor. Board has great flex that fits perfect for butters.
First Bataleon board, first 3bt board and I’m all in. So buttery and fun. Like a hot knife spreading that good stuff on a stack of flapjacks. Great flex level too. Not super duper stiff but enough tension to carve fast and hard with oodles of pop. Load that back end just right and you can BOOST. Stylie as well … lots of looks from the chads. Thanks, Whatever!
Had a chance to take the new Whatever out for a quick ride. This board is legit. Even on hardpack ice it hooks up effortlessly and in the fresh snow you’d think you’re a hot knife through butter. Great work, Bataleon.
I've started my snowboard journey this season at the high age of 36, ate a ton of snow, fell on my butt more times than I can count, and fell in love with the sport.
After trying out multiple boards I made the decision to buy my own and after lots of research the 3BT caught my attention. I bought the Whatever, went into the alps, and had an amazing time. I rode the board 5 days in a row and made great progress, the board is super smooth, forgiving, easy to maneuver, and most importingly you feel confident while riding it. The trust I have in the Whatever made me do turns on steeper slopes and take more risks, all helping me advance further and faster.
The Whatever is the perfect companion, come whatever may.
Thank you for this fantastic board.
