      Shift your reality.

A lightweight women’s twin, the Distortia is ideal for learning new tricks in the park and getting creative across the whole mountain. Identical flex from nose to tail, together with 3BT, lets you ride switch, chuck spins and butter around without stressing about catching an edge. The central carbon SuperTubeTM adds explosive ollie power when you gotta launch onto that rail.

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

        Carbon Layup

Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.

Our 50-50 paulownia and poplar woods blend for optimal strength to weight properties.

        Special Sauce

Central Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Carbon Lay-ups

The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.

        Base Tech

Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Amazing board

As a lifelong Forum fanatic, I felt lost last season when my Spinster suddenly bit it (literally, on a wooden deck) and sent me scrambling to find something I loved as much. It took time, but like finding any strong partner, the wait was worth it. I bought the Distortia this season as my first Bataleon board ever and I love it. This board delivers. I ride mainly inbounds with some side country (my knees are a touch too well seasoned to be sending it off big jumps and features in the park anymore, though it’s insanely fun and poppy for messing around on natural features and buttering). I have ridden powder, groomers, and straight up icy chowder. The Distortia hangs with you through all of the above, and we haven’t even taken a run through the park yet. It is flexible but not noodly and turn initiation is a dream. This board makes carving super fun! It took a run or two to get used to the 3BT feel and shape, but it made ripping around through different conditions easy. I recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile all around fun board. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, the graphic on this board is beautiful and this is by far the most interesting/badass looking women’s board I have seen available for this season.
