I bought a Magic Carpet 151. I’m 5’10” 130 and the board fits me perfectly. It’s super fun in the powder and in the trees and moguls. On piste in normal groomed conditions it’s pretty unresponsive and also catchy and slow, but it’s not designed to work well there. With how aggressive the 3BT is, it’s super vague edge to edge on groomed trails but it’s also catchy where the base lifts on the sides - where the 3BT meets the flat base it creates a ridge that can dig in on the snow. It feels kinda like having edges on the underside of the board. Only other complaint is that for $600 I expect a sintered base, not a slow extruded base - sintruded is marketing bs. All in all thought, the board is tons of fun, it’s great in powder and is super smooth and flowy on moguls.

I bought a Magic Carpet 156 and have been in love with bataleon ever since. It’s such a versatile board for spinning, freestyle, butters, amazing pop, great for powder, it really does everything I ask it to!!!

Pops. Like a pogo stick. Real slippery In the warm weather. Floats like a boat in pow. I really feel like Aladdin on his magic carpet !!! The best board ever. Riding summit county mountains then heading NW!

This is my 2nd bataleon snowboard, had a 2016 Disaster that I'm still riding.
I used the Magic Carpet one morning with a fresh 10cm of snow and loved it!
I'll move in west(British Columbia)for next winter, can't wait to take my Carpet out on slopes again!
