Drawing on the best elements of the Push Up and adding a more pow friendly nose. the award-winning Storm has become an instant favorite of team riders Annika Morgan and Klaudia Medlova. It’s quick edge to edge. stable over jumps and easy to ride switch. but duck the ropes and it chews backcountry lines for breakfast. A one-board quiver that’s so good we had to give the guys their own version with the Thunder.

Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

5.0

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Float Ratio

64

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

Outline Shape

Directional

On our more freeride orientated boards the center base is at its most narrow and the uplift is at its highest this creates unparalleled float in pow super fast edge-to-edge transitioning.

Nose Sidebase Uplift

High

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

High Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ + Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Layup & Laminate

Tri-Ax
Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore

Light
Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Special Sauce

D.S.T.
Super Tubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Base

Hyper
Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon
Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Sidewalls

Solid Walls
Sidewall

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

An amazing do-it-all board

The first board I own after riding demos for years — I couldn’t be happier with my choice and couldn’t recommend this board more!

I don’t live near a mountain so needed an all mountain board for all conditions. Verdict is I’ve ridden it all season so far across North America in a variety of conditions (from 12” of fresh powder to a literal ice sheet) and it hasn’t failed to be an absolute joy to ride.

It’s playful and comfortable on switch/for the beginner piste tricks I can do. Riding powder is a dream on it. I don’t have to use the backseat inserts/can’t anyway with my binding setup.

It’s somehow also very stable despite being so playful: I’m more confident in picking up speed + it holds its speed very well on flats (I glide past everyone now). Generally it’s made me more confident off-piste / on uneven terrain. I’d like to attribute my progression to steeper terrain to the confidence this board gives me too!

Not to mention the design happens to be super sick!

I agree with another reviewer that it’s great for intermediate+ / someone who wants a board that’s basically a master of all trades. I’ve yet to come up with a complaint about it.

Can't Wait for it to Come!

My board has been stuck in a shipping loop since November 18th, hasn't moved since then. Not sure when it's coming, but I'm so excited!

Love at first sight

Unfortunately we don’t have enough snow here yet in New Brunswick Canada for my local mountain to open, but I absolutely loved my Bataleon Push Up and rode it for over six years. It definitely made me a more aggressive and confident rider. I am very excited to see what my new Storm can do. As far as looks go this board is absolutely beautiful! I’ve had my eye on the Storm for a few years, and when I saw this seasons design it was love at first sight.

Such a difference

Bataleon really gave me that extra speed I needed for tricks, being a lot lighter and aerodynamic than my last board. It’s truly one of the smoothest boards to navigate after going through 4 other brands. The lifted sidebase areas are amazing for going over various terrain and features. All in all, the boards turn smoother and faster and avoids snags on uneven terrain and features. Very happy with my board.

Storm 144

My first snowboard ever! I really love it. The brand is cool and the design of board is stylish. The only problem is the edge of the wood part is very easy to damage.
