Drawing on the best elements of the Push Up and adding a more pow friendly nose, the award-winning Storm has become an instant favorite of team riders Annika Morgan and Klaudia Medlova. It’s quick edge to edge, stable over jumps and easy to ride switch, but duck the ropes and it chews backcountry lines for breakfast. A one-board quiver that’s so good we had to give the guys their own version with the Thunder.

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

5.0

110

SoftStiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Tech

D.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Glassing

Tri-Ax Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Sidewalls

Solid Walls

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

An amazing do-it-all board

The first board I own after riding demos for years — I couldn’t be happier with my choice and couldn’t recommend this board more!

I don’t live near a mountain so needed an all mountain board for all conditions. Verdict is I’ve ridden it all season so far across North America in a variety of conditions (from 12” of fresh powder to a literal ice sheet) and it hasn’t failed to be an absolute joy to ride.

It’s playful and comfortable on switch/for the beginner piste tricks I can do. Riding powder is a dream on it. I don’t have to use the backseat inserts/can’t anyway with my binding setup.

It’s somehow also very stable despite being so playful: I’m more confident in picking up speed + it holds its speed very well on flats (I glide past everyone now). Generally it’s made me more confident off-piste / on uneven terrain. I’d like to attribute my progression to steeper terrain to the confidence this board gives me too!

Not to mention the design happens to be super sick!

I agree with another reviewer that it’s great for intermediate+ / someone who wants a board that’s basically a master of all trades. I’ve yet to come up with a complaint about it.

Such a difference

Bataleon really gave me that extra speed I needed for tricks, being a lot lighter and aerodynamic than my last board. It’s truly one of the smoothest boards to navigate after going through 4 other brands. The lifted sidebase areas are amazing for going over various terrain and features. All in all, the boards turn smoother and faster and avoids snags on uneven terrain and features. Very happy with my board.

My first snowboard ever! I really love it. The brand is cool and the design of board is stylish. The only problem is the edge of the wood part is very easy to damage.

Great Board

I bought the Bataleon Storm Board and I love it. The Design is amazing and the 3D-Base makes it so playfull. Carving and going fast in general is so easy and even riding quite icy and steap pist is more than possible.

(I'm here for the 250€ give away)

Great board for intermediates+

My second board after a soft beginners rocker-profile board.

The 3BT definitely helps makes turns easier and more catch free. The flex isn’t too stiff, so can be suitable for many types of riders (not just advanced).

Rode this in Tahoe after a storm, and it floats amazingly! There was no new snow the past 3 weeks, and even on hard pack and afternoon slush, the board performed well. Did not lose edge grip, and had plenty of pop.

The board is relatively light, and the sintered base keep the board flowing fast on flats/cat tracks.

First time riding a 3BT board, and I’m definitely a believer! Did take half a day to get adjusted to the 3D shape, as the edge initiation feels a bit different than traditional boards
