SoftStiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing

Bi-Ax Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintruded base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts

28 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Inserts

+2 Backseat Inserts

Backseat inserts are an set of extra inserts 4cm behind the bottom inserts. This allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight more back on the board the nose stays up and the pressure on you back leg is reduced.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech

D.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Base Graphic

Flip Flop Base

Die-cut bases are like a jigsaw. Flip Flop minimizes waste by using two or more color options for each piece. That means more unique graphics and less environmental harm.

Great board that can do it all

This was my first 3bt board, for reference I am a experienced snowboarder (started when I was 6), I am 6’1 150 and I bought the 157 board, and this was the second board I have ever bought. I took this thing to sugarbush for the long weekend where we got 12+ inches of snow in 48 hours, so I was really looking forward to using this thing. The board can really do anything. I took it out for 7+ hour days hitting the groomers, tree runs, and park where it still gets great pop. I’m the type of guy who wants to do a little bit of everything (like fast carves but also fun jumps/ side hits) and this board preformed really well. It could still move through powder and have a fine heel to toe transition. solid 9/10, would be a 10/10 if it could be just a little faster but good enough for me.

Amazing Quality & Design / Fast Shipping

If you haven’t tried a bataleon 3bt board yet, you haven’t lived. I sincerely believe that every rental shop should carry bataleon boards because of how forgiving and playful they feel.

As soon as I strapped in I felt sad knowing what I was missing out on this entire time. Spins, presses, switch riding, pop? Effortless. Handling through tree runs, patches of pow, side hits big and small? Light work. And then for those just cruising groomers and learning to get comfortable with riding… this is the ultimate choice board to grow into.

Those who are looking to hard carve and charge down the mountain at full speed, this will hold you back. It is not suited for very aggressive riding. This is a board for those who love to seek out every side hit, tree run, powder line, and park features!

Great Support!

I bought the Bataleon WhatEver2024 last year in a store in my city. Unfortunately, after just one season I had a crack in the surface of my snowboard near the binding. Although the warranty description states that no warranty applies in this case, Bataleon sent me a new board within a week. Not only that, they sent me the newer WhatEver2025. As I haven't been able to use it yet, I can only mention here how well the 2024 model rides and how good the support was, especially Matthias.

Showed up quicker than expected. Probably the best board on the market for beginner/intermediates looking to dabble into everything.

Horrible Board Quality

I am NOT normally one to write a review, BUT Ive been a Bataleon Board user for 8 seasons and have 6 Bataleons. Recently i’ve seen a dramatic decrease and it’s been noticeable.

After owning the whatever for one season, the board started delaminating. As I've been very impressed with Bataleons warranty, i reached out and they declined saying “ damages shown from your submitted images are due to some variant of impact or normal wear and tear” and “Damage like this is the result of excessive compression of the board against a hard surface while the rider's weight was either forward or backward of the inserts.“ I was blown away by this response as your board will see riders weight during turns and normal falls. Ive never had a board delaminate off of compression while normally riding.

I am not normally one to review and ride my boards 150+ a season so I understand wear and tear. They’ve lost a Bataleon customer for life :/ Not stoked.
