Nose Sidebase Uplift
The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Camber Profile
Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...
3D Shape
Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.
At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.
SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.
Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.
Tri-Ax Lamination
Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.
Ultra Light Core
A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.
Ultra Glide S
A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.
Flex Walls
Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.
28 Inserts
A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.
Carbon Stringers
Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.
D.R.S.T. SuperTubes
Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.
+4 Backseat Inserts
Backseat inserts are extra inserts 4cm behind the bottom inserts. This allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight more back on the board the nose stays up and the pressure on you back leg is reduced.

Great on all parts of the mountain! I recent narrowed up my stance and it turns even better now. Would recommend this board go anyone looking for a one size fits all set up that shreds everything it touches.
After 15 Years with my old board, I had to get used to the technology of the Goliath and the new bindings. After a few runs I got really comfortable with the feel and I could go and conquer the slopes. Super good feedback and stable to really go flat out and a good alrounder to have some fun in the park.
Since my old Fanatic Boards came to an end after 16 years, it was time for something new. I bought a new 2025 Goliath plus a barely used pari of 2025 Astro bindings. I absolutely love it. Feels super light under Foot. Super easy to turn and stable enough for my riding style.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. Customer service was unhelpful, and the email communication was poorly written and unprofessional. The company should consider retraining employees who handle customer emails. Shipping was also extremely delayed, which added to the frustration
When I first got on this board I was progressing from beginner to intermediate. I was always confident on this board and now 3 seasons later I am a completely confident rider. It truly is a do it all board. Groomed runs, off-piste, powder, park, I've hit it all with this awesome board and still not bored of it. I highly recommend anyone to get on a Bataleon if they haven't ever tried one before.
I get up to Tahoe two or three times a year. So I'm a very casual rider. I had an old Burton King board for about 20 years, but I didn't improve much over the years. I was kind of stuck in advanced beginner / low-intermediate mode. So this season I googled, "best snowboards for intermediate riders," found the Goliath on a list and purchased it. I took it up to Palisades for the first time this week for some spring riding. And the difference was incredible. It was instantly easier to control than my old board. My confidence increased exponentially after just a couple of runs. Turns were easy to initiate, but I was also able to ride without an edge. On my old board, I was in constant fear of falling if I gained too much speed. But the Goliath had my back. This board is a total game changer for me and I can't wait for next season. I'm 6-1, 155lbs and purchased a 161W.
Ok to be fair it's my first and only board, but after spending a lot of time with rentals, this board feels like a dream. It's responsive, it's fast and it's very forgiving for a beginner like me. It seems like you have to actively work to catch an edge, even though it properly grips as soon as you're on an edge. I'm sure I'll enjoy this board for many years to come!

This thing is sick. Took me a day to get used to the 3bt and adapt to the feeling but now that I've figured it out its great. I was intending to just use this board for all mountain, steeps, and bumps and not take it in the park. After taking a lap in the park that went out the window. Great board all around!
If any of your big boy rippers out there, want a great board by this in 164 wide! This board absolutely puts Jones line, Burtons line and any other line to shame. I’m 6 foot and about 240lbs & this thing wraps up the hill , park..etc! Sean White called the other day, he wants to board like me now!!

The quality and care that went into making & designing this board is Top Notch! This is my third Bataleon Board and absolutely love the 3BT tech. It's hard to imagine using any other board than Bataleon. Fan for life!
The only gripe is that the box was damaged upon arrival. Other than that everything is and was great.
Had a 3 week trip out in Whistler during the massive dumping this year. Board handled like a charm carving through 6 feet of powder.
This board takes the mountain by hand and does the salsa. Doesn't matter what lift ya go up this think will get you down to the bottom safely! Talk about a fast board too!!!

Hey guys, I rode my Goliath plus with the glacier gray/neon blaster bindings this season for 75 resort days and 10 back country sled ski days and I couldn’t have been happier with it. The 3BT tech is so nice for butters and not worrying about catching edges. I am going to buy two boards for next season because I want different flex ratings. Not positive which ones yet!! Stoked I chose Bataleon and I can’t wait for next season guys.

My Goliath+ has been the best board. As someone that took a 5 year break only to get back on the slopes with the Goliath+. Holy cow! I felt like my old self. So responsive yet forgiving where it needs to be. The 20th anniversary hoodie I ordered is of equal quality, easily my favorite for the trip up the mountain.
I've had my Goliath board for a few years now and absolutely love it. So I have just bought the latest season's version of the board as a birthday gift for my son along with some Bataleon Blaster bindings to match - can't wait for us both to be cutting through fresh snow. Great service and advice from this company along with great products.
I've used this board this winter, a good compromise in terms of flex and playability, very playful actually.

Got the 159 Goliath+ to replace an 157 evil twin. I’m 5’11”, 180 lbs. Got to use it once end of season at killington after 26” fell. Great day, board was fantastic. I love my evil twin, and demo’d a Goliath earlier this year. The + just felt better. I’m not sure I even understand why, but it definitely corrected a few mistakes for me. I got the evil twin coming off a rocker camber board. Would never get on one of those again. I hated it from day one. But when I brought my old camber boards back out every once in a while I’d catch an edge, always dug out of it but it’s a confidence shaker. 3BT is the way, full camber without ever having to worry about catching an edge. SO quick edge to edge it makes moguls and trees a blast. Moguls and trees hold snow for days longer than groomers, 3BT helps open that up. Seems impossible that Bataleon can be easier to learn on, but also better in bumps, better in trees, better on steeps, more forgiving landing spins, easier to ride switch. It’s just better all around. Get it.

I feel the bord is pretty light 5kg for the 153 that facilitate jumps and rotation. Love the design <3
Early this season I had the privilege of riding a friend of mine's Goliath and I was absolutely hooked!! I had to get one of my own in Batalion did not disappoint!! The speed at which it arrived was staggering and it was well packaged!! The board was immaculate and I can't wait till next season so I can the mountain!
it's been 21 years since I rode. I had a santa cruz 164.. I bought this because of the 3d tech. I have to say it really works. It saved me from catching a edge many times. And at my age the less I get slammed into mother earth is a win win for me. Great board !
What do I even say!? I started off with the ThunderStorm as my primary board but things that are meant to be in your life, have a way of finding their way in. There is nothing this board cant do. There is nothing this board wont do.

I tend to ride rather aggressively and this board will always rise to the challenge. If it could speak, probably say something like "What, thats all you got!?". This board makes me smile about as hard as I charge.
I haven't had any luck with deep powder yet, but cant imagine this board failing there either.
I'm a huge fan of 3BT and Bataleon in general and this board is yet another reason to keep coming back.
Honestly, just buy it. You won’t regret it. Intimidate rider here. Carves sharp, fast ride, easy toe to heel and back transition and riding flat doesn’t catch your edges because of the 3 BT.
