Softer snowboards are easier to press and won't kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping 3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing Glassing

Bi-Ax Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintruded base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts Inserts

28 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech Tech

D.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Base Graphic Base Graphic

Flip Flop Base

Die-cut bases are like a jigsaw. Flip Flop minimizes waste by using two or more color options for each piece. That means more unique graphics and less environmental harm.

Inserts Inserts

+2 Backseat Inserts

Backseat inserts are a set of extra inserts 4cm on the front insert pack and 2cm on the rear insert pack. This allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight back on the board the nose stays up and the pressure on your back leg is reduced.

Amazing All mountain board

This board is hella playful and fun while staying super capable even in deep snow. It’s on the softer side, but still pretty poppy. If you want an all mountain board but prioritize jibbing, side hits, and a more freestyle feel, this board is PERFECT.

Truly Obsessed

I absolutely love the Whatever 148. As an intermediate snowboarder looking to get more comfortable riding at higher speeds, the Whatever gave me a ton of confidence right away. It feels super stable without being stiff or intimidating, and the edge catch reduction is genuinely noticeable. The 3BT shape made the board feel way more forgiving and less catchy, especially compared to other boards I’ve ridden.

It still carves really well and feels playful enough to have fun all over the mountain, but what stood out most to me was how smooth and controlled it felt when picking up speed. Honestly helped me progress a lot and made riding more enjoyable overall. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an all-around board that’s forgiving but still capable as you improve.

Broke in 3 days of riding.. No refund given

This board served me about 15 hours of use before snapping just above the front binding. I've been riding for 20 years now and this was the first time I've tried a product by Bataleon. The board it's self was alright. The 3D profile was fun to ride. Pretty surfy. It was much softer than I'd like, but manageable. However, after riding it for barely 3 days, it broke without any trauma. I claimed a manufacturer defect as anyone would Bataleon claimed that it was a result of my own doings and that the damage would not fall under warranty. They offered 20% off a new board. I kindly turned that down as I will not be buying a Bataleon board again. My words will trickle through to the industry in the PNW as well as I've been sharing my experience.

Excellent board and outstanding service

Also, huge thanks to the staff for their professionalism and excellent customer service when I had an issue with the board. Really appreciated!”

Fantastic warranty!!!

Really impressed with this board. It feels stable, smooth and very easy to control, even at higher speeds. At the same time it’s playful and forgiving, which makes riding just more fun and helps a lot with progression. From the first run it felt natural and confidence-inspiring.

It also handles different conditions really well, whether you’re cruising, carving or just having fun on the mountain. Overall, a great balance between performance and comfort.

Big plus for me is also Bataleon’s warranty and customer support. It’s reassuring to know the brand stands behind their products and actually takes care of their customers.

Very happy with this purchase – definitely recommend!

First Board

I bought this board as my first owned board for the 2025-26 season and have loved it all season, it has treated me very well, has great pop, and is very forgiving on hard landings, the only recommendation i have is that you get the bottom of the board reshaped when you buy it because it has raised rails which makes it much harder to swap from one edge to the other and/or get off the edge youre on, ive yet to do it but have been told that that may be the reason that im having issues with carving.

Whatever is wish washy like it’s name

Also tried to return after purchasing by accident and they sent it anyway. I rode it assuming it would be a chill competent board and it sucked. Had to throw my weight around like crazy to get it to turn

It really does Whatever!

I love this board! I really wanted to try 3BT after recommending my girlfriend buy a Feelbetter when she used to be scared of catching edges (now she doesnt!) so bought this Whatever 154 for myself on sale. Just got back from the Alps and I'm converted! This board did everything I wanted it to do. It absolutely DUMPED snow on the last few days of the trip and I used the deep days backseat binding settings and it surfed the whole mountain! the week started icy and was worried 3bt wouldn't cope but it still held an edge just as confidently as any other board I've owned (previous board a korua transition finder). Also feels lighter than previous boards I've owned. Rode the board with my NOW select bindings which felt a perfect match flex wise but would love to upgrade to bataleon bindings to complete a perfect setup. I love this board and will definitely be sticking with Bataleon from now on!

Great

Honestly, great board, I love the stiffness it’s got, along with the camber, makes riding grommets powerful and park pretty smooth, just wish I got a sticker or 2 with it lol

Easy to ride

It‘s a pretty easy to ride bord for a high end beginner, low end intermediate. hard to catch an edge, felt responsive and balanced on groomers. does not feel like a true camber at all, really easy to ride. only drawback is made in china. cant say much about the quality yet, only ridden it for a week so far.

Her first snowboard

I bought this board for my girlfriend. She has been a skier since she was a kid, but last season she tore her ligaments in the beginning of the season. After one month she decided to start snowboarding, so she needed a board gentle enough for an injured begginer. She loved it, she was able to enjoy the whole season and make a lot of progress. The board is great for someone willing to learn the sport and its very forgiving with sudden movements. This season she will continue snowboarding, the graphics on the sun are beautiful they really shine.

Awesome first board

This board is awesome! It can do whatever lol, I’ve ridden pow days and literal ice days and it rides like a champ. I’ve only gone snowboarding a handful of time but I can already pull off 180s in the park due to this boards maneuverability and 3bt. It’s fuckin awesome. The only draw back I’ve had with it is the top sheet or cover thing has started peeling. I guess from wrecking and the nose going into the snow? I just used a little epoxy and it looks good as new but still annoying I had to do that.

I feel like I'm 16 again!

I've been snowboarding for 31 years. I feel like I'm a kid again on this board! I'm an advanced female rider on the east coast. This board is AMAZING. It's just so light and easy to turn. I brought it through steeps, trees, the park, and moguls. It was just amazing. I even called in sick to work today so I could go ride it again. I haven't tried it on solid crazy ice yet but I don't think that will be a problem. I haven't been this excited about a new snowboard since 1994.
I'm 5'6 125lbs and I'm riding the 148.

Great board that can do it all

This was my first 3bt board, for reference I am a experienced snowboarder (started when I was 6), I am 6’1 150 and I bought the 157 board, and this was the second board I have ever bought. I took this thing to sugarbush for the long weekend where we got 12+ inches of snow in 48 hours, so I was really looking forward to using this thing. The board can really do anything. I took it out for 7+ hour days hitting the groomers, tree runs, and park where it still gets great pop. I’m the type of guy who wants to do a little bit of everything (like fast carves but also fun jumps/ side hits) and this board preformed really well. It could still move through powder and have a fine heel to toe transition. solid 9/10, would be a 10/10 if it could be just a little faster but good enough for me.

Great Support!

I bought the Bataleon WhatEver2024 last year in a store in my city. Unfortunately, after just one season I had a crack in the surface of my snowboard near the binding. Although the warranty description states that no warranty applies in this case, Bataleon sent me a new board within a week. Not only that, they sent me the newer WhatEver2025. As I haven't been able to use it yet, I can only mention here how well the 2024 model rides and how good the support was, especially Matthias.

I love it

After months of waiting I've finally got to try out my Whatever and it was a dream. I went from a softer moustache cambered board (2nd hand) to this one and I had so much fun. It was smooth like butter, a lot more pop and felt more playfull.
I'm an intermediate rider and the 3bt and sidekick is literally a cheatcode. I messed around alot and i shouldnt have landed a couple of these tricks. The boards tech saved my butt on these.

This is my first new snowboard and i'm in love

Bataleon Whatever 23-24 model with Blaster asymwrap

Super easy to ride and perfect board to jib, pop and butter. My previous board was high end popular brand and the Bataleon Whatever is much more agile, flexible and forgiving super playful! Make sure to get the asymwrap bindings icing on the cake!! Highly recommended!

So fun but very easily broken

The board is like a dream so fun and responsive. Unfortunately it is not durable, my entire tail started to crack after doing a butter which I guess could be my fault but I didn't push the board that hard in my opinion. The sides seem to crack very easily and get dinks way faster than any other board. I've had it for 1 season and its in the same shape and my last board I had for 3. If it was made a little more sturdy I would adore it. Still my favorite board I've ever ridden.

N
Nils Weiße
Fun Board but unfortunately not durable at all..

The Whatever is a blast in almost any conditions! But the top layer broke off next to the front binding after a few days in the season. I didn't crash it or did something you'd expect to break the board, I just recognized it after a fun ride. The customer service only offers a 35% on a new full price board. After claiming it I saw many reviews on Bataleon boards complaining about durability and customer support.
Would I take it again?
Fun wise definitely, but if you're planning to ride it hard you might go for a different board (brand). I will need to change, since I cannot afford multiple boards a year :-(

quiver killer

local advanced rider who gets about 60-70 days each year on the mountain with multiple boards for different conditions .... and this board is a quiver killer. powder? - float all day on this board ... carving? - holds the edge no matter how hard you charge a turn (if all you do is carve id recommend a stiffer board but this whatever edge will hold) ... park laps? - feels responsive but also forgiving at the same time so you feel stable on any rail, box or kicker with quick edge to edge traction. overall this board is money and i would recommend to those riders who want a super fun board to progress their riding and make the whole mountain a playground. im 6'5 230 sz 13 boot and ride the 162w with no issues of toe/heel drag. just be prepared to only want to ride this board while the others collect dust
