The carver was just the board I was looking for, makes groomer days so much more fun now that I don’t hit the park. Stiff but good torsional flex. Aggressive but forgiving. Surprised how hard it is to catch an edge even in funky snow.

Blowing doors on the competition with design and customer service, Bataleon does it again w the Carver.
Laying down big surfing bottom turns and Euro carves are what give me the some of the most joy in life and its almost too easy on this sled.
The 3D Triple Base Technology is new to me and I was anxious about how it might affect speed and performance. All I noticed was more speed and never once catching and edge.
Plus the board looks clean and SICK.
Absolutely could not be happier with my purchase and the package came lickity split ta boot!

This board is by far the best board I ever had. I rode this board on powdays, groomers, spring slush conditions and it just crushes everything on its path. It will never hold you back and will just keep pushing you to your next limit! Unlimited eurocarves with this thing!

This board carves very poorly. Also Bataleon will send it to you with dull edges. Try and find one single video on the internet of someone carving this well and having a good time. It doesn't exist because it doesn't happen.

I've ridden the Carver for 4 seasons and absolutely love the smooth carving experience the 3BT provides.
On a recent trip I compared it back to back on the same run with the Nidecker Blade Plus (another great carving board that I enjoy riding) and the Carver feels much more fluid/smooth edge to edge. The 3BT also makes it far less catchy and easier to spin into transitions. The high camber and stiff flex are snappy and really give back energy when unweighting the board through an edge change.
A big bonus is ti also doesn't shit the bed after the fresh corduroy is gone or you just want to ride through various terrain and explore the resort like some dedicated carving boards will. You can ride this all day and still have fun plowing through chopped up runs.
I love this board and even though my 2020 is still in good shape, I just bought a new one since they are discontinuing this model for 2025 and I want to make sure I will have the Carver in my quiver for years to come.
