Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

High

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing

Tri-Ax Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore

Ultra Light Core

A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.

Base

Ultra Glide S

A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.

Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech

D.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Topsheet

Step Down Rails Top 3D

This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves.

Amazing board. I ride very aggressively and this board keeps up no problem. Does amazing on ice, thin coverage, and powder. The raised edges on the nose and tail definitely help with carving and not catching edges.

Don’t be afraid

Gotta be honest, I was skeptical of the 3D base and worried that the rail to rail engagement would be too floaty with the boat hull shape. My wife got a the Storm a couple years ago and ever since has been telling me how much I would enjoy it. Finally decided to give it a go (especially with an insane sale price) and am now feeling like I wasted multiple seasons as a loyal warpig fan. This board is nuts! Noticeable quality right out of the box and a pleasant but simplistic graphic which I really appreciate. But some mileage on it in central Oregon and so far it has been nothing but epic. Playful and rowdy and GODDAMN she wants to go fast. Rails are super grippy and carry speed through big carves. Flexible enough for all the butters and stiff enough to give you all the pop you could want. If you don’t pick a rail…this board will pick for you. I wouldn’t suggest it for any riders lacking confidence and still in the more timid phase of riding, but if you are really comfortable riding give this thing a chance to change the way you approach the hill. Thanks for a great board, I will be back for more!!

AMAZING RIDE

Bought this board for my son, and wow what a huge difference in his riding ability coming from a competitor brand to Bataleon. I myself have been riding Bataleon 3BT for over 12 years and got my son to switch to this board and he is in love with it. Edge to edge carving is seemless and the control he has on pow/groomers is amazing. Also purchased the Bataleon Bindings to go along with this board. Great combo.

The speeding bronco. Better hold tight to them reins.

You better be a good driver, because this thing loves to ride fast. O man does this thing love to move. It just wants to go go go. If you don't ride control it, it will control.

Couldn't be happier. I love this board.

Great Stability

I bought this board to try something different from what I’ve been riding (a directional all-mountain board with camber/rocker/camber profile). I am 5’’5” and weigh about 150 and went with the 152 N. It is about an inch wider underfoot than my old board. I can feel that it takes a bit longer to engage and disengage my turns …but I like that I got a new board with a different feel to it. The transitions between turns aren’t as quick , but I can hold my turns longer. Where I think this board really performs is in fresh powder and through mashed potato snow and tracked out un-groomed conditions. It powers through crud with stability and very little chatter. It’s stable, yet floaty in powder. I’m able to ride switch pretty comfortably when needed. I’d recommend this board if you’re looking for something that will put down long, stable trenches on groomer days., and it will be my go-to on powder days. I will ride my other board if I want something for shorter, quicker turning and carving tricks.
