Best fitting laced up boot. Over 65 days in the new ‘26 Salsa Lace and they still feel as if they were a couple days old. Literally felt broken in on the first day and for already being a softer to mid flex boot they haven’t broken down in anyway. And the shin strap is awesome if ya want a little more for those deep pow and harder charging days. Absolutely love these boots!

The boots are very durable and so it’s gonna be hard to fit your foot into the boot for 1-2 days and but then the liner breaks in and the outside stays super firm and it’s a great boot! I recommend when you get them to let them sit for a day after you untie them and pull the boot open and it makes it easier to get your foot in the boot when they are new

I got a previous-year model of the Bataleon Salsa Lace 2025 at a discount. It’s true to size.
I tried US 9 (27 cm) and US 9.5 (27.5 cm) and went with the 9 (27 cm), which definetely aren't small.
Almost all my casual shoes are 27 cm.

I ride ThirtyTwo TM-3 in US 9.5 (27.5 cm).
The TM-3 (27.5 cm) feels smaller when placed side by side with the same size Bataleon Salsa 9.5 (27.5 cm) and is more similar to the Salsa 9 (27 cm).

The TM-3 is tight in the instep, but what I like about the Salsa is that its diagonal distance from heel to arch bend is shorter than in the TM-3, making it suitable for feet with narrow to wide arches.
However, if you have very wide, the boot’s tongue may bulge noticeably.

With the Salsa, I can secure my ankle tightly, even with simpler liner.
They have a stiff flex, definitely a 5, and not softer compared to others.

I haven’t tested the Salsa on the slopes yet, but they feel high-quality and look stylish.
The strap is strong.

Will see how durable are they, and how long they save flex.
TM-3 still in very good condition after about 90 days prev season.

A spare pair of laces would be great))

Very tight fitting. I have narrow feet and these lock them in. They feel pretty stiff for a 5, I guess the strap adds some stiffness but feels like they will definitely break in.

Such a dope boot. I rode last years model and now this years model , still a fantastic boot!!the flex is so good holds up with any style of riding I’m throwing at it. Although the shell seemed to fold around the arch of my food creating a crease that isn’t ideal. Also wish the laces were a little more durable. On both boots the lace cover peeled away from the actual string. Still tho with all that said boots are so comfy and durable!

The Bataleon Salsa Lace is warm, comfy, thoughtfully designed, well-built, durable feeling, and has crazy good shock absorption for flat landings! I have only put about a dozen days on this pair but I will be surprised if I don’t get at least 100 days on them.

I spent 20 days at Whistler, BC testing these beauties, and I must say that the materials are top quality and so comfortable. The laces stay tied.
… A little stiff for boots with laces.
But super responsive.
The liners are much better quality than others I've had.

Highly recommend.

Great fit and what an amazing difference the boot makes to ride.

Trying to give a fair review here. They are well designed, and fit my foot perfectly. However, I put intuition pro wrap liners in as the stock liners are garbage quality, so this is a review of the shells more than anything else.

I have about 50 days on them since buying them at the end of last season. At day 30 the laces stripped, resulting in needing new laces. Now at day 50, the lace threading (the part that you loop the lace through right before it gets to the upper lace locks), are starting to rip and the stitching is coming apart. I generally lace my boots once a day and am in them for 8-10hrs. I get 15-25k' vertical and about 2k' of hiking vertical/day. Aside from the lacing issues, there is no other signs of wear or feeling like the boot is getting softer.

The toe box holds its shape very well, and you can crank your front toe strap down without it feeling like it's crushing your foot. The sole grip is great while hiking and holds well even on ice. They are fairly lightweight and feel great for pow and park. They are certainly soft, however I like that and like feeling the way i can flex into the binding rather than the boot, so it's perfect for me.

I recognize i'm likely riding them harder than most people buying these boots, but though I would chime in for someone looking at these as a seasoned rider. Great boots, but the lacing system will fail in about a season. Nothing you can't fix tho and keep going for many more seasons

I have been riding 32 all my life. I dicided this year chage to Bataleon and i am surprised because of the quality, comfortable, true sizes, materials and design. I got salsa tradicional laces... next year i will get new Btln bindings

Boots feel very comfortable

Super solid exterior and gives you a lot of control in your bindings and they are very comfortable but I would recommend changing out the insoles with a thicker insole. Also the laces lock in very well with the hooks and overall very happy with the boot!

Pretty snug fit, I would order up a half size or so. Comfortable but stiff and sturdy.

Been involved with the snowboard industry for over 30 years now, first as a competitor and now as an old head. Rode the Salsa Laced last season...was pleasantly surprised. Boots fit true to size, had very little "pack-out" , felt great from day one and I had ZERO of the dreaded heel lift due to that heel cradle in the liner. Great design!

I've probably gone through at least 50 pairs of boots over the years and these boots are definitely in my top 3 of all time. Great work guys!!!

Boots are fire!! Broke in really well and fit very nicely. True to size as well Same as my everyday sneaker. Love laces over boa and I can really lock these baby’s in nice and tight

10/10 love these boots no complaints
